Dating: “Millennial Style”

We all hear the stories from our older family and friends, about how they met their spouse or their dating stories. Hearing those stories, it seems as finding the love of your life was just a smooth process into happiness... RIGHT?!?

Dating now as a millennial, may I say is the most: Draining, complicated, stupidest thing I could literally ever do ! Its like pulling teeth, or trying to learn how to due trigonometry for the 1st time (and I still don't understand that). It use to be such a simpler time, but as the years progress and technology, it has went on a steep downward hill. Instead of writing love letters to express our feelings, we now direct message the person saying "hey big head I miss you" (thinking that's about to start a spark, boy BYE). Or instead of just simply telling someone face to face that we like them, we now like 3 pictures on their social media, thinking that they'll take a hint.

It makes you think is love still real or does this generation just not want to fall in love? Everyone has their opinion of course, but I believe the best thing we can do while dating and being millennials is be TRUTHFUL! Telling someone what it is or what its not can help save the heartache and not waste time. Stop ghosting people, thinking that's going to solve the issue. Communicate and be truthful deal with the issue and dont run away from it.
